LARKANA: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto on Friday visited Larkana, where he was accorded a warm welcome by party workers as well as locals. Leading a large convoy of motorcades, the young politician visited various parts of the district including Municipal Corporation Road, Empire Road, Fish Market, Pakistan Chowk, Jinnah Bagh Chowk, Station Road, Overhead Bridge, High Court Road, Chandka Bridge and Sachal Colony. On the occasion, seeing their leader among them, the PPP activists showered rose petals over his vehicle and chanted slogans in favour of Bhutto dynasty (Jeay Bhutto). The PPP chairman waved to the party activists. Political circles see his visit as part of his would-be by-election campaign. Senior Sindh Minister for Food Nisar Khuhro, who is also party’s provincial chief, briefed Bilawal Bhutto on the ongoing development schemes and problems being faced by the locals. The PPP chairman visited Mahota Village near Larkana to offer condolence on the sad demises of former PPP Larkana president Ghulamullah Mahota, who died recently. Bilawal stayed there for some time and condoled with Mushtaq Ali Mahota, Muhammad Ali Mahota, Habibullah Mahota, and other members of his family. He also prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and give courage and fortitude and soothed with kind words to the bereaved family. Sindh Minister for Agriculture Suhail Anwer Siyal, MNA Ramesh Lal, MPA Khursheed Ahmed Junejo, MPA Muhammad Ali Bhutto, and other party leaders and workers were also present on the occasion.
