Prime Minister Imran Khan, during his speech at the inauguration ceremony of the Havelian Thakot Project, made fun of Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto over his ‘rain theory’. Addressing the event, the premier said “Bilawal has startled scientists worldwide by saying ‘jab barish hoti hai to pani ata hai’ (water pours when it rains).” “But Einstein rolled over in his grave when he (Bilawal) went on to say ‘Jab ziada barish hota hai to ziada pani ata hai’ (More water comes when it rains more)” the premier quipped. In response, Bilawal strongly responded and wrote ob twitter: “Neither am I a liberal, nor am I corrupt and certainly am not a hypocrite”. Na liberal hoon, Na corrupt hoon aur Na hi munafiq. Main taraki-pasand aur nazriyati hoon. Aik saal say siyasat main hoon. Tum 70 saal kay burhay ho, 20 saal say selected siyasat kartay aa rahay ho. Agar Imran ki koi pehchaan hai – tau woh U-turn hai, munafiqat hai, katputli hai. — BilawalBhuttoZardari (@BBhuttoZardari) November 18, 2019 In same speech, PM Khan also criticized JUI-F’s Azadi March and said that a ‘circus’ took place in Islamabad in the name of Azadi March protest. Lashing out at the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl’s dharna, Mr Khan said a “circus was staged by opposition parties on the container. I had said earlier that I would have agreed to all their demands if they could last a month on those containers. We [the PTI] stage a sit-in for 126 days”.
