Sir: Chitral valley is the largest district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, covering an area of 14,850 km².
There are certain famous valleys and places in Chitral which attracts tourists like Kalash valley, Garam Chashma valley, Booni, Golen valley, Shandur pass, Shai Qila, Rmbur and Bumburat and the list goes on The scenery of Chitral is very mysterious, with its steep harsh mountains, lush green valleys, and beautiful meadows and big glaciers, which makes it one of the most beautiful area of the world. But the problem is that the visitors faced serious problems like infrastructure problems, inadequate hotels and other facilities.
“Pakistan has huge tourism potential. We will promote tourism to strengthen the economy,” PM Imran Khan said in his first televised address to the nation. So I request to the government of Pakistan to also focus on Chitral tourism and provide proper facilities to tourists visiting the area.
