DERA GHAZI KHAN: Three terror suspects were shot down by Rangers personnel during an exchange of fire on Monday in Dera Ghazi Khan, a private News channel reported. Security sources informed that the paramilitary troops carried out a raid in the town of Sakhi Sarwar. During confrontation, suspects opened fire on them in order to escape. Troops returned fire and three suspects died on the spot whereas personnel received gunshot wounds. According to sources, remote controlled bomb, a suicide vest, arms and ammunition were recovered from their possession. According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), last month security forces killed three terrorists during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Dera Ghazi Khan. Rangers and Elite Police in the supervision of intelligence agencies carried out operation under Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad. Two Rangers got injuries during an exchange of fire. AK-47, hand grenades, improvised explosive device (IED) and ammunition were recovered from the possession of terrorists. Published in Daily Times, March 27th 2018.
