ABBOTABAD: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Sirajul Haq has said that all corrupt politicians will be sent behind bars soon. Addressing a public meeting on Saturday, Haq condemned dynastic politics in Pakistan. He said both the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) were two sides of same coin. Haq castigated previous governments for handing over Aafia Siddiqui, Aimal Kansi and Ramzi Yousaf and said that such cowardly governments couldn’t lead the people of a brave nation, adding that Pakistan needed leadership like Muhammad bin Qasim, Mehmud Ghaznavi and Salahudin Ayubi. He said it was unfortunate that instead of visiting Myanmar and Bangladesh to express his solidarity with the Rohingya Muslims, the Prime Minister was going to the US to record to ‘give his attendance before his American masters’. Haq mocked former Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif for repeatedly asking why he was ousted, saying that every child in the country knew that he was ousted because of his arrogance, for the execution of Mumtaz Qadri and for handing over Aafia Siddiqui to ‘the enemy’. He stated that the JI worker’s greatest asset was their good moral character and that they were slaves of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and not the international establishment. He assured the crowd that the JI would continue its struggle for a corruption free Pakistan. The meeting was also addressed by JI provincial Chief Mushtaq Ahmed Khan and the district Chief.
