Sir: Street crimes have become a common issue in Turbat. People living in the far flung areas of the city are the main target of this crime. The thieves involved in street crimes snatch cell phones, take away money and watches, etc. At times they even shoot those who resist them. Many have been beaten up severely in the past. In fact it would not be wrong if I say that for many people living in Turbat, street crime has become a profession, from which they eke out their living. So far no particular action has been taken by the concerned authorities to tackle this situation. We are already in a mess. I hope the incumbent government would not let us go into another sphere of crime and lawlessness. Mir fida Hussain baloch Turbat
