DADU: Former Sindh chief minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Liaquat Ali Jatoi on Sunday carried out a rally from Betto Jatoi to Johi town where he addressed a large public gathering. About 3000 people have joined PTI at the gathering. He refuted Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s claim that he was ousted due to corruption. He said that PPP has ruled for 10 years but not a single inquiry was launched against him because he was not a corrupt chief minister. He claimed that PPP Co Chairman Asif Ali Zardari and his party members have ‘illegally’ occupied government lands. He criticized Bilawal Bhutto Zardari that he was unaware of his corrupt party members and during public gatherings he reads written speeches only. He alleged that one minister of PPP would soon be arrested by National Accountability Bureau (NAB) over corruption. He said that PTI chief Imran Khan had provided clarity to the people of Sindh regarding their constitutional rights. PTI activists had vowed to begin revolution against the corrupt rule of PPP in Sindh. He claimed that Gorakh Hill station, a tourist place, has been destroyed by the corrupt rulers. He declared that the people of Dadu, Johi, KN Shah and Mehar have rejected PPP. He highlighted his services as the Federal Minister of WAPDA and the current water crisis in Sindh. Dr Bandah Ali Leghari, former Zila Nazim Karim Ali Jatoi, Sardar Ashiq Zour, Dr Ghulam Abbas Mahisar and others also addressed the gathering. Published in Daily Times, April 9th 2018.
