ISLAMABAD: Pakistan prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Friday condemned Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan and Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed for using insulting remarks against the parliament.
PM Abbasi said that anyone who abuses or uses derogatory language against the esteemed parliament is, in fact, abusing his own self, also saying that PTI and AML chiefs should apologise to the nation.
Earlier, PTI and AML chiefs had lambasted the parliament during Mall Road protest, using remarks such as ‘lanat’, for allowing ‘criminals’ (referring to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) spearhead Nawaz Sharif) to be elected as party president.
