KOHAT: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Sirajul Haq has said that Pervez Musharraf’s return to the political arena will create problems as the former military dictator is wanted by courts in several cases registered against him. Talking to the media at the residence of ex-MPA Dr Iqbal Fana in a village of Lachi tehsil on Saturday where he had gone to offer fateha for 27 people who died in a road accident while proceeding to the Raiwind congregation few days ago, the JI chief said that the primary objective of the revival of the Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) was to forge a united front to face the internal and external challenges of the country and also to unite the masses. He said that two meetings of the MMA had been held at which it was decided in principle to revive the religious alliance. He, however, said, that a cabinet or a restructure had not been decided so far. He said that a steering committee had been set up to contact other parties.
