QUETTA: Security forces killed two Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) commanders in an operation in Leela area of the provincial capital on Wednesday. The two BLA commanders were said to be involved in 17 bomb blasts and different incidents of target killing. Security forces claimed to have tracked down their links to training camps in Afghanistan. Those BLA commanders killed include Nazar Mohammad alias Beerbak and Mohammad Jan alias Chota. Separately, security forces claimed to have gunned down an alleged terrorist in an encounter in Quetta on Wednesday Two days ago, Frontier Constabulary (FC) personnel killed two Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) ken in Quetta. The two were killed after they were tracked down by the security personnel and a gun battle ensued between the two parties. The BLA men were said to be involved in attacks on armed forces, target killing, kidnapping for ransom and planting improvised explosive devices (IEDs) in Quetta, Margate and Sangaan areas of Balochistan.
