RAWALPINDI: The Punjab government has approved the projects for construction of a public park and a 600-bed hospital for NA-52 Rawalpindi in the budget for the fiscal 2016-17.
The PHA will construct a park at the cost of Rs 150 million and work on these two projects will be started in the rural areas of Chaklala during the financial year 2016-17. An amount of Rs 30 million has been released to the PHA in the first phase for theconstruction of a public park and a grant amounting to Rs 120 million will be released in the second phase.
Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan had announced to construct a public park, a 600-bed hospital and a graveyard in his constituency NA-52. The projects of construction of a public park and a major hospital in the rural areas have been included in the development plan for the first time.
