‘CIA carried out Waziristan strike’

DERA ISMAIL KHAN: A missile strike in North Waziristan on Monday was carried out by the Central Intelligence Agency, two US officials said on condition of anonymity. Pakistani intelligence officials told AP on Wednesday, requesting anonymity, that the four foreigners killed in the Monday strike were Abu Qasim, Abu Musa, Abu Hamza and Abu Haris. A Pakistani army spokesman, Maj Murad Khan, said that the military had no information about the identity of the men killed in the ‘explosions’. Separately, militants fired rockets at military camps in Mir Ali and Miranshah. agencies
