Epstein emails spark fresh scrutiny of Elon Musk past links

Published on: January 31, 2026 4:14 PM

Donald Trump lanza brutal ataque contra Elon Musk, tras su mención en la lista de Epstein. Pone en duda su salud mental y escala la confrontación

The latest release of emails connected to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein has sparked intense online discussion, as alleged communications with several high-profile figures have come to light, including tech billionaire Elon Musk.

According to the newly disclosed emails, Musk allegedly sought to visit Epstein’s private island on two occasions in 2012 and 2013. One email attributed to Musk reportedly asked Epstein, “What day/night will be the wildest party on your island.” The claims have reignited scrutiny over Epstein’s connections with influential individuals prior to his arrest.

Musk has long denied visiting Epstein’s island or traveling on his private jet, known as the “Lolita Express.” Responding to the renewed attention, the Tesla and SpaceX chief addressed the email revelations publicly, stating that he supported the release of Epstein-related investigation files even though he was aware his correspondence could be misinterpreted.

Elon Musk has always told the truth about his interactions with Jeffrey Epstein.

In a 2019 interview, Elon said, “He tried repeatedly to get me to visit his island. I declined.”

More recently, responding to misleading headlines on , he posted, “Epstein tried to get me to go… pic.twitter.com/oUbF5Nr9v9

In a post on X, formerly Twitter, Musk wrote, “No one pushed harder than me to have the Epstein files released and I’m glad that has finally happened.” He added that he had “very little correspondence” with Epstein and claimed he declined repeated invitations to visit the island or fly with him.

Musk further stated that while he knew some of the emails could be used by critics to “smear” his reputation, he believed transparency was more important. “I don’t care about that,” he wrote, “but what I do care about is that we at least attempt to prosecute those who committed serious crimes with Epstein, especially regarding heinous exploitation of underage girls.”

Jeffrey Epstein died by suicide in a U.S. jail in 2019 while awaiting trial on federal sex trafficking charges. The newly released documents have also named other prominent figures, including Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, further fuelling debate over accountability and unanswered questions surrounding Epstein’s network.
