LAHORE: Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan on Thursday said there are no blocs in the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N). Addressing a press conference at the Punjab Assembly Secretariat, Sanaullah refuted veteran politician Zulfiqar Khosa’s claim that more than 80 PML-N lawmakers were in contact with him. He said that no one was leaving the party as all of them were united under Nawaz Sharif. He expressed his surprise over collecting 60-year record against the Sharifs in ‘only’ 60 days by the JIT and said the JIT could not level allegations on Nawaz in the report submitted in the Supreme Court. He said that the JIT report was fake and they would challenge it and hopefully the court would give them justice. He also said that they would accept the justice-based decision of the SC against the charges on the Sharifs. He confirmed Nawaz would not resign in any case. Talking about ‘revelations’ made by Javed Hashmi, Sanaullah urged the Supreme Court to summon the Multan-based politician in the Panama Leaks case. About the Model Town carnage, he said that the case was still being heard. He said Tahirul Qadri only appeared on the political scenario when the country was in deep trouble.
