SRK becomes billionaire with $1.4 billion net worth

Published on: October 1, 2025 6:32 PM

Shah Rukh Khan has officially become a billionaire. The Bollywood superstar’s net worth now stands at $1.4 billion, according to the Hurun India Rich List 2025. This marks a massive jump from last year’s $870 million valuation. Khan, 59, has been a major figure in Indian cinema for over three decades and is now among the richest entertainers globally.

The Hurun list places Khan alongside global stars like Rihanna and Tiger Woods, both worth $1.4 billion. He trails just behind Taylor Swift ($1.6 billion) and Kim Kardashian ($1.7 billion), based on this year’s Forbes estimates. Khan’s wealth primarily comes from his film career, business ventures, and media investments, making him India’s richest actor by a significant margin.

His closest competitor in the Indian film industry is Juhi Chawla and her family, with a reported net worth of $88.42 million. Actor Hrithik Roshan follows in third place with a net worth of $24.35 million. The new data shows just how far ahead Khan is from his industry peers. His rise also reflects the growing financial power of Indian cinema globally.

Khan’s wealth has grown rapidly due to Red Chillies Entertainment, his production company launched in 2002 with his wife, Gauri Khan. Additionally, his investments in cricket franchises and Middle Eastern real estate have significantly added to his fortune. These ventures have helped turn his star power into long-term financial success.

In conclusion, Shah Rukh Khan’s journey from Bollywood actor to global billionaire highlights the power of smart business moves alongside creative talent. His $1.4 billion net worth solidifies his position not just as India’s biggest star, but as one of the richest figures in global entertainment.
