Sir: Pasni seems to be the hub of poets and singers with exquisite sights that attract many people. One of the most unique qualities of Pasni people is that they are considered to possess natural talent. But such a beauteous city of Balochistan lacks educational opportunities for girls’ education. On the request of residents of Pasni, the otherwise gender-seregated boys college’s president conducted classes for girls in the evening. However, this year the team of teachers, who conducted these classes last year, have decided not to take classes in evening to protest not being paid properly for their work in the morning classes. It is a matter of great concern as not all girls can afford the expenditure of colleges outside their cities. Most of Pasni’s residents are fishermen and are unable to afford the exaggerated cost of sending their daughters out of their city to study. Thus, it remains a matter of high importance to be sorted out by the concerned members of authorities as new classes of first year are just around the corner.
