Luis Elizondo, the military intel official who headed the now-defunct “Advanced Aviation Threat Identification Program,” which ran from 2009 until 2012, was so convinced by what he saw that he continued his search for E.T. until this day. He now has a UFO-research startup and that there’s “compelling evidence” we are not alone. Now, Elizondo is pulling back the curtain on his tenure with the AATIP, which he left because of a lackluster official response to the agency’s findings, and their unwillingness to address potential risks from UFOs, according to the new show “Unidentified: Inside America’s UFO Investigation,” premiering May 31 on the History Channel at 10 p.m ET/9 p.m. CT. [UFO Watch: 8 Times the Government Looked for Flying Saucers] No, there isn’t a big reveal that UFOs were alien spacecraft all along. But delving into long-hidden accounts of UFO investigations will hopefully encourage people — and authorities — to overcome long-standing stigmas and talk more openly about these mysterious aircraft, some of which may pose a bigger threat than we realize, Elizondo told a private source. Jozy Altidore believes videos recently published by the United States government may confirm the existence of alien life. Last week, the Pentagon released three videos captured by infrared cameras on U.S. Navy jets that seem to show mysterious “aerial phenomena”. Recorded during training flights in 2004 and 2015, they show unidentified flying objects moving so quickly that they amaze the pilots watching them. Pentagon spokesperson Sue Gough said the reason the videos have been officially released is ‘in order to clear up any misconceptions by the public on whether or not the footage that has been circulating was real, or whether or not there is more to the videos.’ Last year, a letter sent from Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid to William Lynn III, Deputy Secretary of Defense, was declassified and revealed new details of the US government’s exploration of ‘disruptive aerospace technologies’. Although the correspondence does not mention aliens or UFOs, it appears to confirm the US Senate ordered an assessment of ‘far term foreign aerospace threats’. It said these include ‘extremely sophisticated concepts within the world of quantum mechanics, nuclear science, electromagnetic theory, gravitics [anti-gravity], and thermodynamics’. These technologies ‘have the potential to be used with catastrophic effects by adversaries’ Senator Reid warned in his letter, which was obtained by Las Vegas Now. So, the question remains, have aliens visited Earth? What do you think?
