SC to take up Karachi law and order case again on FridayBesides the main cities, the Kashmir Solidarity Day was also observed in small cities and towns across the country on Wednesday to express wholehearted support of the Pakistani nation to the just struggle of the Kashmiri people for their inalienable right to self-determination under United Nations resolutions. The day was observed in Khyber district with a pledge to continue political and moral support of the Kashmiri people until they get rid of Indian aggression. In this connection a rally was organized here at Charwazgai, Landi Kotal that was attended by large number of political workers, tribal elders, members of civil society, students and religious elites. The protesters while carrying banners marched from Charwazgai square to Bacha Khan Chowk, main Landi Kotal bazaar. The participants also carrying Kashmiri flags to exhibit their unity with the Kashmiri people. Addressing on the occasion speakers including Malik Abdurrazaq, Assistant Commissioner, Landi Kotal Muhammad Imran, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf local leader Haji Zerbullah Shinwari and others said that the whole nation was united to extend every possible support to their Kashmiri brothers to win freedom of India. They added that for the last seven decades, the innocent Kashmris had been subjugated to inhuman atrocities by the Indian forces that put question mark on the silent attitude of the civilized world. They assured that time would come that the Kashmir would be freed and the Kashmiris would serve their lives as per their wishes. Meanwhile the Christian community of Landi Kotal also expressed their solidarity with Kashmiri people by holding a protest demonstration here in front of local press club. Led by minority Member Provincial Assembly, Wilson Wazir scores of local Christian along with local police officials and member of civil society carrying banner inscribed with slogan favouring Kashmiri people. Speaking on the occasion Wilson Wazir lauded efforts of the Prime Minister Imran Khan who highlighted the Kashmir issue effectively at United National forum and urged the civilized nations to stand shoulder by with Kashmiri to get rid of Indian atrocities. Similarly, Kashmir Day was separately observed by initiating huge rallies here in Melwat, Bara and at Bab-e-Khyber, Jamrud, on Wednesday. A huge rally led by MPA,Shafiq Afridi and Jamaat-e-Islami leader Shah Faisal Afridi hundreds of locals from various walks of life marched from Melwat to main Bara Bazaar where the demo was converted into a public gathering. The speakers said that Kashmir was the jugular vein of Pakistan and every single tribesman would be ready to fight for the freedom of Kashmir. In the same way tribesmen took out rally in favour of Kashmiri people at Bab-e-Khyber. Meanwhile, Rallies were taken out in different towns of Dadu district and programs were arranged in various government offices, schools, colleges and universities on eve of Kashmir solidarity. A big rally was taken out in Dadu city on eve of fifth February, Kashmir solidarity was taken out from SSP office Dadu to press club. The officials of different government departments, citizens, school children, students of colleges, religious activists and political parties’ activists participated in rally. Another rally was organized by Sindh University Campus Dadu, Rally began from main gate to Sindh University campus Dadu to press club Dadu, it was led by Pro Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Muneer Ahmed Soomro, Dr Aftab Ahmed Charan and Dr Mansoor Ahmed Soomro. Moreover, 10 more big and small rallies were taken out in Dadu city on eve of Kashmir solidarity day. Rallies were taken out in LUMHS-Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences, Sindh University and MUET-Mehran University of engineering and Technology Jamshoro. While, rallies were taken out in Jamshoro, Kotri, Sehwan and Bhan Syedabad towns in support of Kasmiri people. Over in Shikarpur, a good number of rallies took out by various political, religious, Hindu Pooj General Panchayat, Education & Health department, JUI-F, Jamait-e-Islami, Social, Sambara Scouts, WahadatulMuslaimain, Municipal Committee Shikarpur, PPP Shikarpur, and other city organizations to celebrate Kashmir day with great zeal and enthusiasm in Shikarpur district on the eve of Kashmir day, here on Wednesday.
