He has appointed his relatives, brothers and sons on Grades 16 & 17 depriving the genuine candidates who had passed the National Testing Systems (NTS) in 2012”, sources disclosed. The investigating authorities have been interrogating the STEVTA authorities and have been chasing the real culprits of the illegal appointments. The STEVTA administration has deputed a senior officer namely Akhtar Hussain Ghouri to coordinate with NAB and to provide all the relevant documents to them, the sources said. While perusing them, the NAB team arrested former MD STEVTA Hafeezullah Abbasi from Sindh Secretariat as he was heading to his office of Chief Economics, P&D department while Director Finance Yousuf Baloch was picked up from authority’s headquarters located near Nipa Chowrangi. The NAB team produced both the officials before the accountability court and got 14-day physical remand on Wednesday for further investigations. The irony is that the real person behind illegal appointments is still posted as Principal of the GCT Larkana enjoying all perks and privileges.
