A nine-years-old mute boy was buried, on Monday, 22 hours after the arrest of the man accused of murder at Bozdar Wada.
As per details, a cruel landlord, Hidayatullah Jalbani, had killed a minor boy, Yasir Ali, son of Mola Dino Soomro, after he was found plucking a watermelon from his field in Village Sher Khan Kubar, near Bozdar Wadda of Taluka Kotdiji District Khairpur, a day earlier, in the jurisdiction of Bozdar Wadda Police Station.
The relatives of the deceased boy had strongly protested and staged a sit-in protest in front of Bozdar Wada Police Station and refused to bury the body until the FIR was registered and all culprits were arrested.
Following the directions of Sukkur DIG Iqbal Dara and Khairpur SSP Umar Tufail, Bozdar Wada Police raided at various places and arrested main accused, Hidayatullah Jabanai. After which, the victim’s parents buried the body after 22 hours.
According to Khairpur SSP Umar Tufail, the case would be lodged and other accused would be arrested very soon.
Four labourers die in road mishap near Khairpur
A road mishap claimed, on Monday, at least four lives on National Highway Gambat Khairpur Bypass of Khairpur District.
As the truck rammed into a motorcycle, four labourers were killed.
As per rescue sources, the deceased workers were seeking employment when they were trampled by the truck.
Gambat Police said that the deceased included Sunel Marecho; Chandu Marecho; Pirbho Marecho and Raja Marecho. All the deceased belonged to Khuhra city.
Receiving information about the accident, Gambat Police soon reached the spot and took the bodies in custody. The bodies were later handed to their heirs after autopsy from Gambat hospital.
Meanwhile, the coach driver fled the scene as police took the coach in custody. Police had not registered the case till the filing of this story.
Police recovers Jacobabad trader
Khairpur police, on Monday, recovered the abductee milk trader from Jacobabad.
According to Khairpur SSP Umar Tufail, a motorcycle fled the walk-through checking of motorcycles near Khairpur.
The police followed it yet the motorcyclist left his vehicle along with a man and succeeded to escape from the spot.
During the investigation, the recovered man identified himself as Palio Buledi, a milk trader who was kidnapped for ransom eight days earlier from Jacobabad. He was being shifted to another place when the police recovered him.
As per SSP Tufail, a police party was raiding the area to arrest culprits.
