Sir: I would want to bring the spotlight towards the growing population of our country. It’s really very important to know that education is the basic need to survive in our society. Our Holy Prophet (PBUH) said that getting education is the fundamental right of every Muslim man and woman; it is the wealth of poor and is powerful than the sword. Education is the key to success. Primary education is the first step for a child, as it provides the child with insight to the new world. Unfortunately, Pakistan is lacking with primary education. The factors such as poor infrastructure, lack of trained teachers, poor connection of teacher and parent, poor counseling and no check on the teachers and children are responsible for such a weak education system. The government shows no concern towards the institutes and education. It shows that education is not the priority for the policy makers. This is a basic problem of our society which needs to be solved at the very first place. MUHAMMAD NAMEER SIDDIQUI Karachi
