The Prime Minister (PM) Secretariat on Friday approved Rs 51.1 million for the treatment of 17 poor patients of Ghokti district. According to the sources, the Ghotki deputy commissioner (DC) Sayed Aijaz Ali Shah sent a letter to the former prime minister of Pakistan Shahid Khaqan Abbasi with a request of treatment of 17 patients namely Muhammad Hussain, Altaf Ahmed, Naresh Kumar, Amanat Ali, Amanullah Khoso, Abdul Hameed, Aijaz Ali, Intikhab Hussain, Kamran ali, Shah Nawaz, Shah Muhammad, Muhammad Hassan, Iqbal Hussain, Sayed Akhtar Shah, Asif Ali, Umaruddin and Shah Nawaz. Meanwhile, Shah has received more applications from the poverty-stricken people, and would forward their application based on merit. Published in Daily Times, June 16th 2018.
