ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court on Monday directed transfer of all the cases pertaining to the Hajj quota pending adjudication before various high courts to the Islamabad High Court (IHC). A three-member Supreme Court bench, comprising Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar, Justice Umar Ata Bandial and Justice Ijazul Ahsan, directed the IHC to club all these cases and dispose them of within two weeks. The court rejected a request of the deputy attorney general seeking permission of Hajj balloting and directed him to approach the high court. When the court resumed the hearing in Hajj quota case, it was told by counsels of almost all the parties that the cases pertaining to Hajj quota were pending adjudication before various high courts of the country.
