Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah has said that the Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq along the Pak-Afghan border is our defensive right.
In his message to the nation on Operation Ghazab-lil-Haq Against the Afghan Taliban Regime, he said that there will be no compromise on the defense of the homeland.
The Chief Minister said, ‘We will thwart the enemy’s adventurism; the nation stands shoulder to shoulder with the Armed Forces of Pakistan.’ He said that the Pakistan Army delivered a timely and effective response, crushing the enemy’s malicious intentions.
Defending every inch of our beloved homeland is our national duty, Murad Ali Shah said, adding that the Sindh government is in complete coordination with the federal government and the armed forces on matters of national security.
He said that the enemy will be given a befitting response to every act of aggression.
Pakistan is united, he said, adding that the sacrifices of our martyrs will not go in vain.
He further said that Pakistan’s defense is impregnable and every conspiracy of the enemy will fail.
Separately, Member of the Sindh Assembly Makhdoom Fakhar Zaman called on Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah to discuss ongoing development schemes in district Matiari and the overall law and order situation in the province.
According to details issued by district information department Matiari, during the meeting, Makhdoom Fakhar Zaman, in his capacity as parliamentary secretary for home, assured the chief minister that ensuring the security of Sindh’s citizens would remain the top priority amid the prevailing Afghan conflict situation, and that all necessary measures would be taken to maintain peace.
The chief minister said that further improvements would be made to strengthen law and order in the district, adding that clear directives would be issued to police authorities to take strict action against criminal elements.
He also stated that ongoing development projects in Matiari would be completed within time, while schemes for Matiari taluka would be given special focus in the provincial Annual Development Program (ADP) 2026-27.
The chief minister directed the relevant authorities to consider handing over Odero Lal hospital to the PPHI to ensure improved medical facilities for the local population.
