The actress admitted that due to her busy schedule, she had been unaware of many troubling developments online. “I thank my well-wishers for bringing this to my notice,” she wrote. “I have always taken things with a pinch of salt and lived in my own world, but this is deeply disturbing and devastating. I also see my fellow colleagues going through the same and am reaching out on behalf of everyone.”
Sreeleela requested her audience to stand by actors and support efforts to maintain safety and dignity online. She reassured fans that authorities are now involved and will take necessary actions against misuse of AI and other digital tools to create harmful content.
Her statement comes after fellow actress Priyanka Arul Mohan raised similar concerns in October, highlighting a growing unease in the industry over AI-generated content and its impact on artists’ privacy and reputation. Sreeleela’s appeal reinforces the call for responsible use of technology and solidarity among audiences to protect performers from digital abuse.
