Pakistan’s exports to US up by 1.70% to $5.12bn in 10 months

Pakistan’s export of goods and services to the United States (US) witnessed an increase of 1.70 per cent during the first ten months of the current fiscal year (2025-26) as compared to the exports of the corresponding period of last year, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) reported. The overall exports to US were recorded at US $5.123 billion during July-April (2025-26) against exports of US $5.037 billion during July-April (2024-25), SBP data revealed.

On a year-to-year basis, exports to US decreased by 0.82 per cent from $493.826 million in April 2025, against the exports of $489.750 million in April 2026. Meanwhile, on a month-on-month basis, exports to US increased by 2.61 per cent during April 2026 as compared to the exports of $477.275 million in March 2026, the SBP data revealed. Overall Pakistan’s exports to other countries witnessed a decline of 5.43 per cent in the first ten months, from US $27.307 billion to US $25.824 billion, the SBP data revealed. On the other hand, the imports from US into the country during the months under review were recorded at US $2.540 billion against US $1.909 billion last year, showing an increase of 33.05 per cent in July-April (2025-26).

On a year-on-year basis, imports from US increased by 117.60 per cent to US $400.966 million in April 2026, against the imports of US $184.261 million in April 2026. On a month-on-month basis, the imports from US into the country also increased by 81.89 per cent during April 2026, as compared to the imports of US $220.436 million during March 2026, according to the data.

The overall imports into the country increased by 8.49 per cent, from $48.624 billion to US $52.753 billion, according to the data.
