KARACHI: The Police officials of N. Nazimabad continue to protect illegal construction by their fellows despite the clear instructions of demolition from DIG District West. On the complains from shop keepers of police welfare shops situated next to the North Nazimabad Police Station in the District Central of Metropolis Daily that illegal contraction is still exists and the policemen involved in the illegal activity are posing threats to shop keepers. Daily Times has learnt through a letter dispatched by the DSP North Nazimabad Area Naeem alias Sannata to DIG West Zulfiqar Larik on 29 March 2017 that ASI Kashif posted in Taimuria police station had built illegal walls upon the roof of six police welfare shops adjacent to the police station. An enquiry conducted by the intelligence officer Nadeem had established this illegal activity after the claims made by the SHO North Nazimabad that it had demolished the constructions properly. “But the real facts are contrary to the situation because illegal built walls are still there and SHO Khalid is hesitant to demolish these walls despite clear instructions of high ups and complaints of shop keepers” a shop keeper told daily times. “The SHO and DSP are misguiding the DIG West about the real situation because they have their special interests” he further said. The DIG West did not respond the calls made by Daily Times to obtain his version on this matter.
