Actress Alizeh Shah has responded graciously to a public apology extended by veteran actress and television host Juggan Kazim, calling her gesture unexpected and heartwarming.
The exchange came days after Alizeh Shah accused several senior figures in the entertainment industry of inappropriate behaviour in a candid video posted on her social media. Among the names mentioned were singer Shazia Manzoor and actor-director Yasir Nawaz, along with Juggan Kazim, whom Shah accused of mocking a past fall during a public appearance.
In response to the criticism, Juggan Kazim issued a heartfelt apology through a video shared on her official social media accounts. Addressing Alizeh directly, she said, “Alizeh beta, if I hurt you, I sincerely apologise. I had no idea that the video, which is four years old, would affect you to this extent. I would never want to be a bad influence on anyone, especially someone younger.” Kazim further said that she, too, had faced bullying in the industry and understood how deeply such moments could hurt. She added that she would have apologised earlier if she had known Alizeh felt disrespected. Reacting to the apology, Alizeh Shah took to her Instagram story to express her gratitude and surprise. “I really didn’t expect Juggan Kazim to make a video and apologise,” she wrote. “It shows how good a person she is.”
Alizeh went on to thank Juggan for the kind gesture, adding that she was happy and moved by the apology. In a show of maturity, Alizeh also apologised in return, saying, “If my words hurt you in any way, I am sorry.”
The warm exchange between the two actresses continued as Juggan Kazim re-shared Alizeh’s story on her own account, sending her best wishes and prayers for her future. The mutual apology has drawn praise on social media, with many users lauding both actresses for their grace and dignity. Fans have called the moment a rare example of civility in the local entertainment industry, often criticised for its lack of accountability and professional conduct.
