ISLAMABAD: It has been revealed that the Indian secret agency, RAW (Research and Analysis Wing), has access to Pakistan’s interior ministry. In a key housing society of Islamabad, Swan Garden, an Indian Mamta Kumari, is living on a visa from for the last many years and an officer of the interior ministry, Shehbaz Tanoli is looking after her affairs in the capital. The husband of Mamta Kumari, Ehsanullah, who married her while they were in China and his two brothers, Imranullah and Sabeehullah, two nephews, Salman Ali, Usman Ali, a cousin Nasir Jamal and a friend Riaz are in prison in China on allegations of drug smuggling. A close relative of Ehsanullah told Daily Times that Mamta Kumari didn’t make any effort to release her husband from prison, adding that suspected people frequently visited her home. He further said that Mamta Kumari uses a drone camera for her security. Another close relative of Ehsanullah, Zahid, while speaking to Daily Times said that Ehsanullah used to live in a rented house in 2011. However, he got well off when he married Mamta Kumari in China. According to his claims, Ehsanullah owns property worth Rs four billion in the capital, including the two kanal house of Swan Garden where Mamta Kumari is living. The Muslim name of Mamta Kumari is Ayaat Kausar while her father’s name is Mahindar Parsadh Singh. Zahid’s further said that Ehsanullah had bought plots and several open files in Swan Garden and owns the biggest cash and carry store of the area. Another close relative of Ehsanullah, who travelled to China to meet them in prison, told Daily Times that all people were in the jails of China and Mamta Kumari was not perusing the case. He further said that he was an eye-witness that some suspected people used to visit the residence of Mamta Kumari, adding that an application had been filed at Loi Bher Police Station in this regard. However, te police started pressurising the applicants instead of taking any action against the accused. When Daily Times contacted Shahbaz Tanoli, he said that he was working as a coordinator in the interior ministry and looking after the affairs of Mamta Kumari. He also said that she had converted to Islam and her husband was guiltless in the smuggling allegations. He also said that his cousin was in Islamabad Police, adding that Mamta Kumari is living on a legal visa in the country. Shahbaz Tanoli claimed that those who were posing allegations against Mamta Kumari were her tenants. They started allegations against her when she asked them to vacate the shops. A relative of Ehsanullah Zahid claimed that Shahbaz Tanoli used to live in a rented flat before getting attached to Mamta Kumari. He said that now Tanoli had the latest model vehicle. When Daily Times contacted Loi Bher Police Station, the officials said they had received an application and were looking into the matter. Zahid, a friend of Ehsanullah, said that it was a matter is of national security and he would take it to the Chief Justice of Pakistan.
