SHIEKHUPURA: A heart dying news appeared from Muridke on Sunday when a newly bridegroom got slaughtered by his in-law’s family members when he just hit the hay in an expectation of typical day-end. The deceased Shahzad (25) who settled a love marriage with a girl named Tehmina hailing from Muridke’s Gujar Town, Saddar, three months ago, went to an evening gathering in his in-law’s home, which they organized for the new couple in the wake of settling the “big” issue. At that time, ending the dinner followed by a tea, then the in-law’s family members asked Shahzad to stay there of time being late. Obviously, accepting a warm greeting and solid dinner in a sound situation, Shahzad gestured cheerfully, without deduction for some time that a few wings of time haven’t changed. The next day on January 19, upon receiving no information of their son, then Shahzad family approached his in-law’s home, where they found the corpse of their son in the middle of dry blood, in the empty home. The deceased wife was also disappeared from the scene. Thusly, police took the expired body in their authority and began looking for the guilty parties yet nobody has been gotten. Meanwhile, our ignorance in love and humanity reached to an extent of shame, that people — after sharing foods with you — after exchanging witticisms with you — still sustain their black deeds in the mask. Very recently, on January 10, a man killed his 15-year-old daughter in the name of honor, which also appeared in Sheikhupura. According to rough reports presented in the media, every year Pakistan sees 1000 killing in the name of honor.
