Nine Indian army soldiers were killed and many others injured when Pakistan Army troops effectively responded to the latest Indian ceasefire violations along the Line of control (LoC) here on Sunday. Indian troops resorted to unprovoked firing in violation of ceasefire line to deliberately targeting civillians in Jura, Shahkot and Nousehri Sectors, DG-ISPR said in a tweet. According to DG ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor, firing by Indian troops martyred one Pakistani soldier and two civilians. “Two soldiers and five civilians were injured in cross-border firing,” the statement said. “Indian unprovoked CFVs in Jura, Shahkot and Nousehri Sectors deliberately targeting civilians. Effectively responded. Nine Indian soldiers killed several injured,” DG ISPR said. He added two Indian bunkers were also destroyed in firing by Pakistani soldiers.
