Sir: Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Rawalpindi has allegedly increased the marks of Punjab Minister Fayyazul Hassan Chohan’s son in Physics from 14 to 30 in the recently declared result of annual Intermediate Exam, 2019. This reminds of the famous case in which 21 additional marks were given to Farah Hameed Dogar, the daughter of Ex-Chief Justice of Pakistan in FSc Annual Examination, enabling her to take admission in a medical college. Our failed education system owes its demise to lack of morality on the part of the students, educationists and parents who cannot distinguish between getting a degree and acquiring education.
