KARACHI: Muttahaida Quami Movement (MQM)-Pakistan chief Farooq Sattar on Tuesday submitted his reply in the Sindh High Court (SHC) on the petition which demanded a ban on the party In his reply, Sattar stated that the party’s parliamentarians in the National and provincial assemblies had condemned the August 22 speech of the party founder and the MQM-Pakistan has no association with London Further adding in his reply Sattar said even the veto power of the party’s founder has been eliminated. According to Sattar, the motive behind this petition is to just blackmail the party and its members which is why this petition should be dismissed. It is pertinent to mention that the petition filed in the SHC called for a ban on the MQM, stating that the party founder made an anti-state speech on August 22 which was facilitated by party leaders.
