ISLAMABAD: Adviser to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz has said that the preparation of a dossier on involvement of RAW’s agent Kulbhushan Yadav in sabotage activities in Pakistan is at its final stages and would soon be submitted at major international forums. He was briefing the Senate Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs on the evolving situation at the border with India. The panel met under the chair of Senator Nuzhat Sadiq. Senator Farhatullah Babar said that Yadev was arrested some nine months ago, but questioned why dossiers had not been completed so far. Adviser Sartaj Aziz replied that he was previously misquoted by the media regarding his statement in Senate. He never said that Pakistan did not have the evidence against Yadav. “I said that there is a need of some additional information,” he said. He also said that an investigation was still undergoing against Yadav. “He is a serving officer in the Indian forces and we are trying to unearth his whole network. Pakistan also highlighted human rights violations of Indian forces in held Kashmir and violations on LoC and working boundary,” he said Aziz said that due to withdrawal and reducing international forces from Afghanistan, the security situation will further deteriorate. He said that Pakistan was providing transit facility to Afghanistan. He said Pakistan’s foreign policy was dynamic and some people would always find something to criticise. Secretary Foreign Affairs Aizaz Chaudhry said that around 45 people were martyred due to Indian violations along the line of Control. Pakistan has written letters to the UN Security Council and UN Secretary General regarding the human rights violations in Indian held Kashmir as well as ceasefire violation on LoC. He said there was no need to bring any new resolution in UN regarding Kashmir issue because there were already enough resolutions. Now, Pakistan had to focus on the implementation of these resolutions. Aizaz Chaudhry said that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs highlighted Kashmir issue at UN and other international forums and due to that UN Human Rights Council and Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) wanted to send fact finding missions to Indian held Kashmir but India had not allowed them.
