Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan has launched its new website developed by its own Management Information Systems (MIS) Division. Chief Executive Officer, Dr Shaikh Akhtar Hussain inaugurated the launch of new website (www.dra.gov.pk). Directors and officers of DRAP were present at this occasion. Additional Director (MIS), DRAP briefed that the new website features not only a new look and ease of access but also relevant information can be downloaded from it. Speaking on the occasion, DRAP CEO said that the new website was another step towards automation, transparency and information sharing with all stake holders. “It will improve the performance of the authority and helping the general public, pharmaceutical companies, importer / exporters and medical practitioners to find out the relevant information more effectively from the website.” He further added that DRAP had already launched Drug Regulatory Information System (DRIS) and Integrated Regulatory Information System would be launched soon to facilitate the pharmaceutical industry for online registration and renewal of pharmaceutical products the main modules of this system are Licensing, Registration, QA< (Labs and Inspection), Import & Exports and Pharmacovigilance.
