ISLAMABAD: Pakistan army said on Monday that three soldiers were “critically injured” in the Indian firing on the Line of Control (LoC). An army statement said that the Indian resorted to unprovoked firing on LoC in Thoob sector near Bhimber. Three Pakistani soldiers critically injured and there are reports of Indian casualties as well in exchange of fire, a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said. The three solider who were injured are NaikGhulamRasool, Naik Imran Zafar and Sepoy Imam Bukhsh. Pakistani forces “responded effectively,” the statement said. Pakistan and India had declared ceasefire in 2003, however, firing exchanges do take place time to time and the cross-LoC firing has increased in recent days.
