The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC), on Friday, awarded sentences to the three accused rapists. The two accused were awarded life imprisonment twice and one of the accused was given seven years jail. According to the details, the special judge at the ATC Kahirpur announced the judgement pertaining to a case of rape of a girl, Abida Bhellar. After the case was proved by the prosecution, the judge awarded the two accused, Saleem Bhellar and Farhat Bhellar, life imprisonment for two times and imposed a fine of Rs. One lakh upon them while the other accused, Wakeel Ahmed Bhellar, was awarded seven years imprisonment. The accused were alleged to kidnap Abida in 2012 and raped her at gun point. M Phil thesis presented at SALU One of the candidates for the Master of Philosophy (M.Phil), Akhtiar Hussain Shar, from the Department of Public Administration at Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU) delivered his final thesis on Friday. Shar presented his work on the topic: “Impact of Human Resource Management Practices on Employee Relations in Public Universities of Sindh: A Case Study of Shah Abdul Latif University, Khairpur”, under the supervision of Professor Dr Mumtaz Ali Junejo and co-supervision of Professor Dr Muhammad Saleem Rahpoto. The Dean Faculty of Management Sciences, Professor Dr Syed Noor Shah Bukhari chaired the seminar and declared it successful. Professor Dr Syed Muneer Shah, the Chairman of the department of Public Administration, Professor Dr Amir Shar, Professor Dr Riaz Mangi, Professor Sajid Mirani and other research scholars and officials attended the seminar.
