ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Ayaz Sadiq has submitted a written apology to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) over the remarks he made on polling day. Sadiq’s lawyer Kamran Murtaza appeared before the ECP on behalf of Sadiq. The Chief Election Commissioner Sardar Raza Khan said that today Ayaz Sadiq has been reminded of his own credentials. Ayaz Sadiq had said on polling day that the ECP does not have the credentials of handling the authority that has been given to them. Sadiq had also made controversial remarks regarding Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan and his voters. The ECP had issued a notice to Ayaz Sadiq on account of his violation of electoral conduct on polling day.
