FAISALABAD: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) leader Abid Sher Ali has rejected the outcome of his constituency NA-108 Faisalabad declaring the whole election process a complete fraud. Abid Sheri Ali is contesting from NA-108 in Faisalabad, where according to unofficial results thus far, PTI’s candidate Farrukh Habib is leading with 47,964 votes while Abid is lagging behind with 43,899 votes. While talking to this scribe, Abid Sher Ali has asserted that the results are rigged and his polling agents were not allowed inside the polling station when the counting process began. “They didn’t even let my polling agents sit during the counting of votes”, said Abid Sher Ali. When asked if he has received the voting result on form 45 from election commision officials, he said, “no, we were not provided with form 45”. He also claimed that 14000 registered votes from his constituency were shifted to other cities before the election. He has accused the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) of failing to oblige its constitutional responsibilities. He claimed that the voting process was slow throughout his constituency and his voters were denied the right to cast their vote.
