PESHAWAR: Senior Minister for Health Shahram Khan Tarkai has inaugurated Insaf Health Card here at Rehman Medical Institute Hayatabad Peshawar on Wednesday. The Senior Minister said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf fulfilled its promise which they had with the people before the election, adding that this call the real change as poor people of the province will get free treatment in RMI hospital. He further said that from the Sehat Insaf Card around 1.8 million families across the province will get free treatment facility in public and private sector hospitals. He added that the provincial government were working for the last three years on health sector and take revolutionary steps for the betterment of health facilities across the province. He informed that Institutional Based Practice, Medical Teaching Institution Act and thousands of doctors, paramedics and nurses were recruited across the province for the best delivery of patients care. Tarakai added that last day on attack in Tangi Charsadda the Tangi hospital play a very good role and provide best healthcare facilities to the patients on emergency basis, adding that the government providing best salary package to the doctors performing in far flung areas according to the international standard. About the growing incident of terrorism he said that Rescue 1122 service will be extended across the province very soon, adding that it is the responsibility of 1122 to provide first aid service to the patients on emergency basis in such like incidents. Dr Shafiq ur Rehman CEO of RMI said that Sehat Insaf Card has enabled the poor people to get treatment from RMI, adding that RMI has cut down its price and providing treatment on the facility to provide treatment to the poor people of the province. He lamented that RMI were providing best healthcare treatment to the patients on low rate with high standard quality with advanced equipment. State Life Insurance Deputy Manager said that State Life Insurance with the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was providing best healthcare facilities to the patients. On the occasion senior consultants, professors and doctors of RMI were present and appreciate the initiative of the provincial government for providing best free healthcare facilities to the poor people of the province.
