KOHAT: Railways Minister Saad Rafique on Wednesday lashed out at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for failing to work for the development of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, while also saying that the province should give Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) a chance. While addressing the inaugural ceremony of Kohat-Rawalpindi rail service, Rafique said that KP has been governed by PTI, Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) and Awami National Party (ANP) but all have failed to produce fruitful results for the province. The PML-N leader further added that if the people of KP elect the party to power in 2018 general elections in the province, the league will ensure that the province is brought on par with Punjab. Saad also commended Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif saying that fellow PML-N leader has worked for the betterment of Punjab and Pakistan and that his efforts have been acclaimed by Turkey and China. On the other hand, he said, CM KP Pervaiz Khattak has performed way below the expectations, although the PTI leader had the same amount of budget and resources as Shahbaz. He also criticised PTI chairman Imran Khan for mocking Punjab government’s Metro projects saying that ‘corrupt and incompetent people only complain and do nothing.’
