DADU: Sindh Police Inspector General AD Khawaja has said that he has no differences with the Sindh government. While inauguration a reporting room at a police station in Dadu, he said that it has that manhandling of teachers and cultivators was regretful. “I apologise for the sad incident.” He said that it is duty of federal government and sindh government to elect inspector general. He said that teachers are civilised class of society and to stop them entering into red zone is duty of police and police is compelled to stop protester in red zone. He said that if teachers will not protest in red zone police will not do anything with them. He said that during my tenure there was no political inference. While talking to media in reply to a question he said that station culture will not improve in one month, week or a day rather it will take time for that there is need for giving jobs on merit basis. He said that job for son quota will be given to those police staff that dies on duty. He said that without cooperation of people the system of police will not work and for that purpose the establishment of (CPLC) Citizen Police liaison Committee is put into practice. He said that for the solution of peoples problems CPLC centers will be open in others provinces and teams will be formed for that purpose. He praised former SSP dadu Shabir Ahmed Sethar forming CPLC Center Dadu and said CPLC has made people live their differences and has solved 750 cases without registration. He said that we have to work collectively for progress and said that in police job will be given on merit. He said that on order of Supreme Court illegal recruited were dismissed and were taken test second time were given jobs. He also condoled with MNA Rafique Ahmed Jamali over his brother death former SSP Faroque Ahmed Jamli at his village Bahawal Pur . Published in Daily Times, January 6th 2018.
