LAHORE: Pakistani fast bowler Hassan Ali has maintained his position as top One Day International (ODI) bowler in the International Cricket Council (ICC) rankings. Hassan was followed by South Africa’s Imran Tahir and India’s J. J. Bumrah. Muhammad Hafiz (23), Muhammad Amir (25) and Imad Wasim (30) were other Pakistani bowlers ranked among top 50. Indian captain Virat Kohli was ranked number one ODI batsman, whereas AB de Villiers from South Africa and David Warner from Australia were at number two and three respectively. Babar Azam (4) was the only batsman form Pakistan in top 10. Muhammad Hafiz held the top position in the allrounders list. South Africa was the top ODI team, while Pakistan was ranked at number six. Twenty20 rankings Virat Kohli was at the top in Twenty20 batsmen rankings. He was followed by A.J Finch from Australia and E. Lewis from West Indies. Pakistani batsman Babar Azam was at number ten. In the bowlers list, India’s J. J. Bumrah held the number one position, followed by Pakistan’s Imad Wasim. Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hassan was the top Twenty20 allrounder. Pakistan was the top team in Twenty20 rankings. Test rankings Steve Smith from Australia held the top position in the test batsmen rankings ahead of India’s Virat Kohli and England’s Joe Root. Pakistan’s Azhar Ali (8), Asad Shafiq (28) and Sarfraz Ahmed (34) were in the top 50 batsmen. In the top bowlers list, England’s James Anderson was ranked number one followed by Kagiso Rabada (South Africa) and Ravindra Jadeja (India). Yasir Shah (15), Wahab Riaz (23), Rahat Ali (35), Mohammad Abbas (42), Mohammad Amir (44) and Imran Khan (48) were the Pakistani bowlers among the top 50. Shakib Al Hassan was the top allrounder in the ICC test rankings. India was the top test team, while Pakistan was ranked at number seven.
