LAHORE: The Lahore sit-in staged by Tehreek-e-Labbaik Ya Rasool (PBUH) Allah (TLYR) faction led by Ashraf Jalali was called off close to midnight on Friday after a fresh agreement was reached with the government of the Punjab. The agreed upon points are: 1) The clause number 3 of the Islamabad agreement will be implemented and Raja Zafarul Haq Committee’s report will be made public by December 20 2) The government of Punjab will form a committee comprising clerics of all schools of thoughts of Islam to decide the number of loudspeakers to be installed in mosques 3) All points of agreement between the federal government and TLYR will be implemented soon 4) United board of clerics will review religious symbols in school curriculum Copy of the agreement Jalali in a press conference thanked the sit-in participants and said that the government approached them for dialogue. The government delegation comprised Khawaja Saad Rafique, Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman and Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan.
