Shanzeh Ali Rohale Stuns in Green Sabyasachi at Mehndi Ceremony

LAHORE: Junaid Safdar, son of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and grandson of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, and Shanzay Rohale Ali celebrated their mehendi on Thursday night at the Sharif family’s Jati Umrah residence in Lahore. The ceremony marked the first of their wedding festivities, with family and close friends in attendance.

A highlight of the evening was the tender moment when Maryam Nawaz placed Shanzay’s hand into her son’s, symbolizing the union of two prominent families. Safdar shared the moment on social media with a poetic caption about dreams coming true.

For the green-themed mehendi, the groom opted for a custom navy blue cotton shalwar kameez paired with a waistcoat by HSY. Gold buttons on the waistcoat and a brown shawl draped over one shoulder gave the ensemble a regal touch. Shanzay wore a Sabyasachi heritage collection emerald green lehenga, woven with muted purples, greens, and maroons. Her look was complemented by a mint green and pink rose backdrop, a tea-pink dupatta, and statement kundan jewellery, with makeup by Saad Samie in a nude palette.

This is Junaid Safdar’s second marriage. He previously married Ayesha Saif Khan, daughter of former NAB chairman Saifur Rehman Khan, in 2021. Their wedding included a London nikah and six lavish events in Lahore and Islamabad but ended in divorce in 2023, announced by Safdar on Instagram.
