
Pakistani mountaineer Samina Baig has made history by becoming the first Pakistani to ski to the last degree of the South Pole. This milestone cements her status as a leading figure in global adventure and exploration. Her achievement showcases courage, determination, and skill in extreme conditions.
Baig joined an international expedition organized by Elite Exped, which began its journey from Pakistan on December 2. The team reached Union Glacier on December 6, and Samina successfully completed her ski to the last degree of the South Pole on December 14.

In a heartfelt social media post, Samina reflected on the significance of her accomplishment. She mentioned her previous milestones, including summiting Mount Everest in 2013, completing the Seven Summits, and climbing Pakistan’s highest peaks, K2 and Nanga Parbat.
