The tournament is being held in Haikou, where Pakistan continued their impressive run in Group C with a dominant 3-0 win over Kazakhstan. The young Pakistani side controlled the match from start to finish and left little room for their opponents to respond.

Pakistan won the three sets 25-14, 25-12 and 25-9, producing a commanding performance in attack, defence and serving. The victory followed Pakistan’s successful opening match against Kyrgyzstan and ensured qualification for the knockout stage with a game still remaining in the group phase.

Coaches and officials praised the team’s discipline and consistency, noting that the players maintained intensity throughout the contest and capitalised on nearly every opportunity. The result also underlined Pakistan’s growing strength at youth level volleyball in Asia.

The quarter-final qualification is being viewed as another encouraging step for Pakistan’s volleyball programme, which has shown steady progress in regional competitions in recent years. Supporters have welcomed the team’s confident performances and are hopeful the side can challenge for a medal as the tournament moves into the knockout rounds.

Pakistan will next face Thailand in their final Group C fixture on Tuesday. The match will provide the team with an opportunity to maintain momentum and potentially improve their standing before the quarter-finals.

The Asian Under-18 Championship features some of the continent’s leading youth teams and serves as an important platform for developing future international players. A strong performance in the competition could boost Pakistan’s prospects in upcoming Asian and world-level youth events.
