Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said the barbaric attack not only shocked the nation but also strengthened its resolve to eliminate terrorism. Senate Chairman Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani noted that the martyrs laid down their lives for knowledge, peace, and humanity. He emphasised that despite years passing, the nation continues to feel the pain of this tragedy, and that national unity and collective effort remain crucial to combat terrorism.
Deputy Chairman of the Senate, Syedal Khan, expressed deep grief over the loss of innocent children and teachers. He extended condolences to the families of the martyrs, saying their sacrifices continue to inspire Pakistan and reinforcing the nation’s commitment to honour their memory.
Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah, also paid homage, stating that the sacrifices of students, teachers, and armed forces will always be remembered with honour and respect. Leaders urged the country to remain vigilant against hostile elements attempting to undermine peace and stability.
