The price of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs3,300 on Friday and was traded at Rs 439,762 per tola compared to Rs443,062 on the last trading day, All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association reported. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs 2,829 to Rs 377,025 from Rs 379,854, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold fell by Rs 2,594 to Rs 345,618 from Rs 348,212. In the international market, gold prices decreased by $33 to $4,174 as against $4,207. Likewise, silver prices also witnessed a downward trend as the per tola rate of 24-karat silver declined by Rs140 to Rs5,522 from Rs5,662, and the 10-gram silver price decreased by Rs120 to Rs4,734 from Rs4,854. International silver also decreased by $1.40, reaching $52.60 from $54, the association added.
