Iran’s Foreign Ministry strongly condemned what it described as large-scale US attacks on its territory. It called the strikes a blatant violation of the UN Charter and international law. The ministry said the attacks undermined sovereignty and territorial integrity principles. It warned that Washington would bear responsibility for consequences.
The ministry said the ceasefire agreement reached earlier in April has effectively collapsed. It argued that continued military actions have destroyed any remaining basis for restraint. Iran also accused the United States of using regional facilities to carry out operations. It said such actions place those countries alongside aggressors.
